Sally D; Matawan, NJ:
“I just wanted to take a moment to tell you what a wonderful job you have done with the installation of my parquet flooring.  It looks beautiful.  And thank you for being so neat and tidy upon completion of the job.
The only problem I have now is to make the rest of the house look as good as my new floors.
A fair price, honest and reliable service, quality installation and cleanup….what more could I ask?
Thank you again and I will see you in six months for my next project."

Patty & Peter G; Reading, Ma: “Thanks for another great job”

Brazilian-Rosewood Display Case/Room Divider

The cabinet was made of customer supplied Brazilian-rosewood covered MDF panels. The cabinet serves as a display case and room divider. The back side (kitchen side) hides the Sub-Zero refrigerator. Black Walnut edged all exposed edges and shelves.

Due to the 54” width and the customers request that all sides be covered in rosewood, many special construction methods were employed.  The basic cabinet was built out of ¾” birch plywood, dry assembled, veneered with the ½” MDF covered rosewood panels (see close-up photo). All shelves were fixed in place and contained a plate valance that hides the rear mounted lights.  Doors of safety glass were installed on pivot hinges.

The entire unit was disassembled and shipped off to “Wade’s Antique Restoration” for finishing.

Final assembly took place at the customers’ house. The total weight of the cabinet required the help of three additional men to upright the cabinet.

A custom light valance
designed by the customer was fabricated of mahogany and brass in the living room. The facade portion of the valance is held in place with rare earth magnets to permit changing of the 4’ fluorescent light bulbs.
